The panel will include Doctors Without Borders midwife Kirsti Rinne, along with Dilshad Jaff, MD, MPH, program coordinator for solutions to complex emergencies with the Gillings School's Research, Innovation and Global Solutions unit; Kathryn Andersen, PhD, chief scientific and technical officer at Ipas; and Dr. Boniface Sebikali, senior clinical training advisor at IntraHealth International. Erin Ching will moderate this event. Together, panelists will share stories from the field and explore creative ideas, methods, and devices with the potential to help people on the move. The discussion will focus on identifying solutions to some of the challenges faced by the record 68.5 million displaced people worldwide.
