With a global average of 528,000 new cases of Cervical Cancer, and 266,000 deaths annually, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) launched a successful vaccination campaign in the slums of Manila, Philippines. In partnership with a local women's health organization, Likhaan, MSF was able to provide HPV vaccines that protect young girls from contracting Cervical Cancer. View External Media.
