Destruction and human misery continue in Yemen, where fighting between the Saudi-led coalition and the Houthi rebels began in March. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is working in several areas of the country to try to deliver lifesaving medical care, but it has been difficult as medical infrastructure and staff have been targeted.
In southwestern Yemen there have been devastating attacks in highly populated civilan areas in recent weeks. MSF is working in Taiz, where airstrikes killed an estimated 65 civilains in one day in August, as well as in Al-Dhale' and Qataba.
