West Bank
In Nablus, MSF teams are providing psychological therapy including services for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and we are working with partners to train first responders, emergency health care workers, and doctors and nurses in emergency rooms. We also run a mobile team focused on women’s health and mental health.
In Hebron, MSF teams run 17 mobile clinics, providing general health care, sexual and reproductive health care, and mental health support. MSF teams also support four hospitals with capacity building and donation of supplies. We also provide training and first aid kits in communities, including displacement camps. Teams provide psychological first aid, psychiatric care, and individual and group counseling.
MSF also offers “safe community spaces” in Umm Qussa, Al Majaz, Umm Al-Kheir and in the H2 neighborhood of Hebron city. We have increased health promotion activities, pipe installations, and the distribution of relief items, hygiene kits, and portable toilets to displaced people and West Bank residents affected by violence and forcible displacement.
In the aftermath of displacement from camps in Jenin and Tulkarm, MSF has focused on covering the immediate needs while maintaining activities. In collaboration with local organizations, MSF distributed non-food items, hygiene kits, food parcels, bedding items, and clothing, as well as water heaters and water tanks, to thousands of internally displaced people.
MSF health promotion and mental health teams run outreach activities to vulnerable communities, promoting healthier lifestyles to improve health outcomes and mental health. Since July 2025, in light of the increase in violent and long-lasting incursions in villages around Jenin and Tulkarem, MSF has focused on delivering psychological first aid in affected villages in coordination with the mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) cluster. Patients are referred to our newly established fixed mental health points or mobile clinics.
