Every day, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams deliver emergency medical aid to people in crisis, with over 63,000 staff working in more than 70 countries around the world. Our teams of doctors, nurses, logisticians, and other frontline workers are often among the first on the scene when peoples’ lives are upended by conflict, disease outbreaks, or natural or human-made disasters. We respond based solely on medical needs, and we strive to be as open and transparent as possible when it comes to the work we do and the money we spend. Our financial independence ensures that the aid we provide is not used to further any government’s political or military goals. Learn more about our work at https://www.doctorswithoutborders.org.

Every day, Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières aid workers from around the world provide assistance to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe—treating those most in need regardless of political, religious, or economic interest. Whether an emergency involves armed conflicts or epidemics, malnutrition or natural disasters, Doctors Without Borders is committed to bringing quality medical care to people caught in crisis.

On Thursday, September 24th, medical and non-medical professionals are invited to join us for an evening presentation to learn more about how you can join Doctors Without Borders’ pool of dedicated aid workers.

An aid worker and Field Human Resources Officer will discuss requirements and the application process, and you'll meet experienced Doctors Without Borders aid workers from the area and hear their firsthand stories of "life in the field."

The presentation will last 90 minutes, including Q&A.
