How MSF is responding to the war in Gaza

This is not a ceasefire: Israeli forces continue to strike Gaza while blocking the flow of essential medical and humanitarian supplies.

Drawing Gaza: When childhood is shaped by fear and violence

October 20, 2026 — Children in Gaza have enormous mental health needs but few services and spaces available to recover. During group psychosocial sessions organized by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams in Gaza, children quietly explain the meaning of their drawings — drawings of a childhood defined by fear and violence.

Israeli forces’ all-out war on Gaza has systematically destroyed the conditions necessary for life in the Strip — attacking hospitals, striking tented camps and fragile shelters, destroying vital civilian infrastructure, and choking off access to food, water, medicines, and other basic needs for survival. No one is spared.
